Diamond Jubilee: Street Party in your street

Our Big Jubilee Lunch street party pledges:

We also supported pledges to arrange parties in the park.

Diamond Jubilee street party pledges are now closed (we had a great time!)

Sorry — applications for Diamond Jubilee street party pledges are now closed, and the sign-up deadlines have passed.

However, you could start planning your 2012 Olympics street party instead!

We joined in with the Big Jubilee Lunch on Sunday 3rd June 2012 (although the parties took place on days close to the Jubilee weekend too!)

The Diamond Jubilee marked Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s 60 years on the throne. It was a wonderful excuse for a street party — not only is a street party a fun way for residents to celebrate such an event, it’s also a great way to get to know your neighbours better.

The council provided advice and insurance cover.

Please note:

Sharing your contact details with other volunteers

If you agree to become a volunteer, we will automatically share your contact details with other participants in your street.

Remember that it’s up to you to spread the word to your neighbours to get them to sign your pledge and get involved!
