Barnet Council supported residents who wished to clear snow by offering grit and spreading equipment.
Four residents needed to sign up to a pledge for it to succeed.
Closed:
The council has now met its pledge to provide grit to 10 streets whose residents have agreed to clear snow in bad weather.
Therefore we will no longer be processing any new requests for a “grit my street” pledge, or any current pledges that are yet to be fulfilled.
The council provided advice and insurance cover.
